Refundable credit up to 30% for IT/software sector Quebec employers on eligible employee salaries.
CDAE is Quebec's e-business tax credit: 30% of eligible IT and software salaries. Per Investissement Quebec's June 2026 fact sheet (CDAEIA, fiscal years starting after December 31, 2025), the split is 22% refundable + 8% non-refundable for years starting in 2026, 21% + 9% in 2027 and 20% + 10% from 2028. The $83,333 salary cap no longer applies; an indexed annual exclusion threshold ($18,952 in 2026, indicative) is subtracted from each employee's eligible salary. Annual certification required from Investissement Quebec.
