The Canada-Ontario Job Grant is now delivered as the Ontario Job Grant. Government covers half of training costs for employers with 100 or more employees; employers under 100 employees pay at least one-sixth. Support is up to $10,000 per trainee, and small employers training previously unemployed new hires can receive up to $15,000 per trainee with no minimum contribution. Ontario is accepting applications from individual employers training 25 or fewer participants (page updated August 31, 2026). Apply online through the Employment Ontario portal.
